Description: This 3D medical animation depicts an endoscopic carpal tunnel release procedure, where small incisions are made in the palm and wrist of the infected hand. A fiber optic device is then inserted into the wrist port. With the aid of the camera the surgeon uses other instruments to cut the carpal ligament. The incisions are then closed with stitches.
